Girl Empowerment - Is aimed towards inspiring girls 7 to 17 to become innovators and leaders in their communities. Through the use of computer science and technology we will remove boundaries and develop connections by providing positive exposure within today’s technology, while encouraging and inspiring young girls' imaginations and introducing them to cultural learning and viewpoints. Providing exposure to different cultures or institutions, and mentors with a different racial or ethnic background can expose youth to new networks of adults and new opportunities within and outside their communities. Young girls are often exposed to inappropriate or upsetting content, like racial discrimination, bullying, aggression, Violent or sexual comments or images. uploading inappropriate content, like embarrassing or provocative photos or videos of themselves or others.  Giving young girls the guidance they need to make the best out of their social media use. It is important for girls to learn how to communicate online to prepare them for future opportunities in furthering the education or workplace by supporting them in interacting with friends and family.
