What's Our Purpose
Educational
Think Big Dream Foundation aims to enhance and enrich the lives of children as they become young adults. We engage parents in actively supporting their own children and youth within the school system and the community. TBDB Foundation is focused on increasing the number of college-going students by inspiring and empowering elementary and high school students to become college bound, focused and prepared through leadership training and mentoring. We also aim to reduce the educational attainment gap for historically under-served students by changing their mindset from believing that college is just a dream to knowing that higher education is, in fact, a goal they can attain.
Sports / Physical Education
TBDB Foundation will provide all kids, regardless of skill, a chance to experience the joy and benefits of sports. Sports help children develop physical skills, get exercise, make friends, have fun, learn teamwork, learn to play fair, and improve self-esteem. Sports require more than just athletic skill; respect and sportsmanship are required to succeed in any sport, and those same skills prove crucial for success throughout life. TBDB Foundation Provides children with the opportunity to develop academically, socially, mentally and physically while they learn to THINK BIG AND DREAM BIGGER.
Community Outreach
Community participation helps youth become empathetic citizens who could potentially continue similar work when they become adults. Additionally, youth who give back to their communities develop leadership skills, learn the importance of helping, and gain work experience. Through active participation, young people are empowered to play a vital role in their own development as well as in that of their communities, helping them to learn vital life-skills, develop knowledge on human rights and citizenship and to promote positive civic action.
